Rollies Wharf

North Sydney, Nova Scotia (Aug 15 2010) As a long time supporter of drag racing, Rollie Clark today hosted a "drag racing car show" at Rollies Wharf. Since this was a non racing weekend, it was great to get out and display some of the local racing machines. There was 10 drag racing vehicles on display and the funds raised were for the North Side Hospital Foundation. The perfect weather conditions had everyone chattering about what a great day it was for racing. However, as it turned out, the "bench racing" session lasted an extra two full hours, proving that everyone enjoyed the day at Rollies. I actually spoke to some visitors (race fans) who had be visiting the area from Edmonton, Calgary, and Halifax. They were all quite impressed with the efforts of the Cape Breton Drag Racing Association members and gave us all a thumbs up for our efforts toward taking racing off the streets.
