With some of the fastest streetcars in the world competing for over $80,000 in cash and prizes this event has always, in the past, brought the best of the best in the world of drag racing to do battle round by round racing, to lay claim to one of the largest payouts out in the sport.

Event promoter Joe DaSilva of DaSilva Racing and The Mustang Toy Store has always provided a premiere show for the fans and first rate racing program for the racers and this year is bigger and better.

This event always brings in the heavy hitters from the Super Street 10.5 cars that are capable of runs in the mid six second ranges at over 210 mph. So, records could be set as these drivers will let it all hang out to take the huge cash payout along with a $7000.00 Matco Tools toolbox at the end of the day.

Up for grabs is $5000.00 for the fastest Pro Mod on the grounds and some of the best from this side of the border, along with our friends from the USA, are making their way to the Kohler drag strip. Strathroy, On resident Dave Earhart and his 2002 Pro Modified Chevy Camaro will be part of team Canada that will try to keep the cash here on Canadian soil. Earhart and crew chief Simon Couto will squeeze all possible horsepower out of the supercharged 526 cubic inch KB Olds backed by a Hutch’s Transmission to put the beautiful looking Chevrolet in the winner's circle.

Also on the billing this weekend are the racing series of the wheel standing Can-Am Super/Stock Series along with the TNT Super Series 10.90 cars sponsored by Joe's Transmission Service, which will provide a added bonus for the fans to take in.

The Maple Cruisers Car Club will be on hand for a big show and shine and drag racing’s guru of announcers none other then the big guy himself Al Tucci will be bringing the fans all the racing action from the Toronto Motorsports Park tower.

Qualifying begins Saturday at 10:00am and the event concludes Sunday with first round of eliminations beginning at noon.
